Fabio has spent eighteen years in technology, more than a decade of it driving organisational change in complex, regulated environments. Those are the places where a new capability is only real once it has cleared control, audit and risk, not on the day it demos well.
For the past four years that work has been AI and ML platform delivery inside a Tier 1 global bank, helping the organisation move from experimentation to scalable, value-driven adoption. The distance between those two states is not model quality. It is governance frameworks, operating models and delivery standards that let AI run at scale while control, transparency and trust hold. Defining and embedding those is the work he is known for.
Much of it is organisational rather than technical: influencing senior stakeholders, aligning leadership agendas, and building teams that span product, engineering and data. He works closely with product and engineering leaders to translate AI opportunities into measurable business outcomes, keeping strategy, technology and execution connected rather than drifting apart, which is the usual way these programmes fail.
